Privacy policy
What we collect depends on whether you book sessions or teach them, so there are two sections. The rules for using TrainerFly are in the terms of service.
For clients
1. What we collect
We collect the details needed to run your account: your name, email address, password, and the city, state or county you choose for finding trainers nearby. No payment details are collected while payments are not switched on; once they are, your payment method is held by our payment partner, not by TrainerFly.
2. What other users see
Your name and profile photo are visible to trainers you message or book. Your location is used only to show trainers in your area and is never shown to other users. Reviews you post appear on the trainer's profile under your first name.
3. Who we share data with
We share data only with the partners needed to operate the service — payment processing, email and push delivery, and app-store billing — and never sell it. Trainers see the booking details they need to deliver your session.
4. Your controls
You can view and update your details at any time in Account, change notification preferences, and delete your account and personal data from the app. Booking and payment records are retained as required by law.

For trainers
1. What we collect
To run your trainer account we collect your name, email, phone number and profile photo, the disciplines, services, prices and locations you publish, your availability and booking history, and messages exchanged with clients. Payout details are collected and held by our payments provider, not by TrainerFly. If you request the verified badge we collect the evidence you submit, such as social links.
2. What clients see
Your public profile shows your name, photo, bio, intro video, disciplines, services and prices, the locations you train at and your ratings and reviews. Your email, phone number and payout details are never shown. Clients see the exact meeting point only for a booked session.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the partners needed to run the platform: our payments provider for payments and payouts, our hosting and email providers, and mapping services for locations. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Your controls and deletion
You can edit your details, profiles and notification preferences at any time in Settings. Deleting your account removes your profiles, messages and private client notes; transaction records are kept in anonymised form where the law requires. Payout details are deleted by our payments provider on the same schedule.
