Terms of service

Clients and trainers agree to different terms, because they do different things here. Both are below. How we handle your data is in the privacy policy.

For clients

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating a TrainerFly account you agree to these Terms of Service. TrainerFly is a marketplace that connects clients with independent trainers and coaches; sessions are delivered by the trainer, not by TrainerFly.

2. Booking and payment

Browsing and booking are free for clients. Once payments are switched on, you pay only for the sessions you book, at the price shown before you confirm, and your card is charged when the trainer approves your request; if a request expires or is declined, nothing is charged. Until then, nothing is charged at all.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to give accurate account details, to attend booked sessions or cancel through the app, and to treat trainers with respect. Abusive behaviour, off-platform payment requests and misuse of messaging may lead to suspension.

4. Refunds and disputes

Once payments are switched on, they are processed by our payment partner. Refunds and credits for cancelled or disputed sessions are issued through the app by TrainerFly staff and appear on your original payment method within a few business days.

5. Reports, blocking and your account

You can review, report or block a trainer at any time. Reports go to our moderation team. You can delete your account and its data from Account settings; completed transactions are kept as required by law.

For trainers

1. Acceptance and our role

By creating a trainer account on TrainerFly you accept these trainer terms together with our general platform policies. TrainerFly is a marketplace: we list your profiles and services, take bookings and collect payment on your behalf. The training itself is a contract between you and your client, and you are responsible for delivering it safely and as described.

2. Membership and fees

Listing requires an active membership. Entry costs $4.99 a month, lists 1 live profile and deducts a 15% commission from each session booked on Entry. Pro costs $9.99 a month with no commission and lists up to 4 profiles; Champion costs $19.99 a month with no commission and lists up to 10. Membership is billed monthly and can be changed or cancelled at any time in Settings; changes apply from the next billing date.

3. Payouts

Client payments are collected by our payments provider when a booking is approved. Your share is paid out every Friday to the connected bank account for sessions completed that week, after any commission. A verified bank account is required; if none is on file the payout is skipped and the balance is paid on the first Friday after verification.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations must be made through the app. If you cancel a confirmed session the client is refunded in full and the amount is deducted from your next payout. Repeated cancellations are reviewed by platform staff and may lead to a profile being suspended. If a client cancels, the refund follows the cancellation policy shown at booking.

5. Verified badge, reports and deletion

The verified badge is available on Pro and requires evidence such as public social links that match your profile; we may remove it if the evidence no longer holds. Clients can report a profile or message; reports go to our moderation team and you keep access while they are reviewed. You can delete your account at any time: upcoming sessions are cancelled and refunded, profiles are removed, and transaction records are kept in anonymised form where the law requires.
